Redwith Bridge to Pryces Bridge Reopening
2nd June - Plank lifting
CRT Trustee John Dodwell was in attendance for a ceremony, with the media in attendance, to raise the top plank under Redwith Bridge. The section took several days to fill up and the stop planks were then removed completely.
Footage of the plank lifting was shown in an feature on the Montgomery in an episode of ITV's Coast & Country series shown in August. The episode is still available on Catch up, the feature runs from about 5 minutes 30 seconds to about 11 minutes 30 seconds.

19th July - Official Opening ceremony
The official opening was hosted by the CRT Board and attended by national and local politicians, local dignitaries and volunteers. The press, TV and radio were again much in evidence:
Owen Patterson, MP for North Shropshire, cuts the ribbon watched by C&RT Chairman Tony Hales, S.U.C.S. Chair Pat Wilson and C&RT Chief Executive Richard Parry.
